By simply knitting the masculine, subdued, mottled dyed yarn, the beautiful and colorful expression of the yarn is brought out. The placket has a zipper, giving it a stylish and not a formal impression.
We named this cardigan the “Shibuzaku Zipper Cardigan” because of the feeling of bitterness and masculinity blooming, and the sense of crunchy knitting of thick threads; Zaku-Zaku.
Features of “Shibuzaku Zipper Cardigan”
- Using dark-colored yarn (Noro’s “Ayatsumugi”) with beautiful mottled dyeing, and knit with stocking stitch, which allows stitches to appear naturally to make the yarn look even more beautiful.
- In addition to the mottled dyeing, thicker yarn is chosen, and the hem is decorated with 2×2 rib to emphasize the rugged feel.
- Collar has folded 2×2 rib to form a double stand-up collar, creating a masculine silhouette while ensuring warmth.
- Sleeve has a set-in sleeve style and gives tough or serious impression.
- Zipper is used on the placket to add a stylish atmosphere without being too methodical.
