A moist, soft, high quality yarn – Natural Alpaca. A cardigan design that took advantage of the taste of this yarn was published in a magazine, and it was so beautiful that I immediately bought the yarn and the magazine and tried knitting it.
- The yarn I used was Natural Alpaca (Bulky).
- The magazine that featured the design I referred to was “2023-24 手編み大好き！AUTUMN&WINTER” (Seibido Shuppan).
This time, I knitted it mainly by machine knitting using Amimuemo.
After the main parts such as the bodies and sleeves were knitted, we placed each part in place. A simple design with seed stitches lines is suitable for this yarn.
And here is the completed project.
The size is perfect for a 160cm woman.
Natural Alpaca yarn that smoothly follows the shoulder line. The fluffy stitches that are typical of bulky yarn also warm and soften the feelings of those who look at it.
Just before I finished knitting the cardigan, I went out to look for buttons that would go well with the cardigan. This was a fun time for me. After flipping over all the button shelves in the store, I was satisfied that I finally found buttons that bring out the elegance of this cardigan even more. What do you think?
